Through Rebuild: The National Disaster Survivors Association, survivors, local organizations, funders, and partners are in motion, moving resources to the ground within hours of Isaias's landfall. Our mission is to make sure no survivor faces this alone, no disaster profiteer profits from this crisis, and to make sure that the Gulf Coast can both recover and rebuild.

In 24 hours our organizers and members have sent over 10,000 texts checking in on residents in threatened evacuation zones of Tropical Storm Isaias, offering tip sheets on hurricane preparedness, protecting important documents, mental health support, and more - prepared by our team of experts and disaster survivors who've been through it.

As soon as early next week, we'll have a team of organizers and disaster survivor members on the ground to offer in person support to those we are talking to by phone.
